Jason Steinkellner  AkA JSPN (J SPIN) Was Born in the UK In 1976 (abroad) on a USA Air Force Base and that’s when he got the first drink of that UK  water that had him hooked on electronic music from the UK . 

JSPN Moved back to the US in 1978 back to Fairfield California with his family where he grew up in the East Bay by The delta ..

During his childhood  into his teens JSPN was Gang related and mixed up in the Juvenile system in and out of juvenile hall and camps . 

In 1995 JSPN was in a head on car accident where he was hit by a drunk driver and was hurt bad .
During his rehabilitation a good friend Knew he was felling depressed about everything and wanted to bring him out to a rave in Oakland CALIFORNIA at the famous location HOME BASE And that’s when he fell in love with the people.  The vibes and most of all THE MUSIC . It changed his life . It’s changed the way he viewed people . He seen the positive in people for the first time .. 

Shortly after a few party’s he attended he knew he wanted to play records and make people dance . So During his rehabilitation to walk again,he picked up a mixer and 2 technics 1210’s and the record shopping started…. And he began to practice every day and play a few underground party’s/Raves  .

1997 was the first real Rave he debut at Second and Jackson in Oakland .
SIMPLE PLEASURE’s 

From there the seed was planted and a lot of promoters took note to his style and skills and records JSPN was getting his hands on . 

1998 JSPN Joined the FEEL GOOD ENTERTAINMENT GROUP and begin banging the dance floor and blowing up sound systems all across the USA with legends like DJ Dan ,ONIONZ ,DJ Sneak Mark Farina ,Hector Moralez, Tony ,jeno , DJ Mes , AND many more 

At the same time his Career was talking off . JSPN had he first child . His daughter kept him grounded and he know that if he was going to be a good father he couldn’t be at the clubs and events week after week all night long .
So he made a decision to put up the record cases and Be a Father… and that is what he did ..

27years ,5 kids and  3 grandchildren and a amazing fiancé later ,JSPN Has  been a big part of our House music community this whole time nurturing his relationships with all the heavy hitters and  supporting them . Writing Tracks he only plays . Mastering his own style . And collecting an amazing catalog of unreleased tracks and edits most don’t own or never heard before .

Now it’s JSPN ‘s Time To Shine .. Backed By His famly and his Crew DELTA FUNK  he is ready to make you all dance like never before .he is ready to take you on a rhythmic Journey.. 
His style which Consist of Jackin -Deep -funky-tech house with that hip hop twist and all the old songs you grew up on that will have you moving you feet trying to catch that beat he is dropping .
