Hailing from the South Bay Area, Bruja's love affair with house music ignited after being mesmerized by a Jamie Jones set at the legendary Mezzanine in San Francisco. Transitioning from a longtime indie rock and post-hardcore aficionado, her discovery of house music was a captivating revelation. In 2019, she embarked on her DJ journey, swiftly making her mark on the Bay Area music scene.   

Bruja has graced numerous renowned SF venues, sharing the stage with acclaimed artists such as Chris Lake, Duck Sauce, Hot Since 82, Peggy Gou, and Sama Abdulhadi. Her sets traverse a captivating range, spanning from minimal and tech house, to tribal and techno, with recent influences rooted in classic soulful house rhythms. Inspired by the boundless spectrum of house music, Bruja's intention behind her DJ name, BRUJA, is to weave enchanting spells behind the decks.
