Jesse James has been in the underground music scene since the early 90’s. Native to San Jose, CA and living in Sacramento for the past 23 years and recently moved to beautiful Nevada City, CA.  Jesse James established his sound quickly. A natural ear for the underground, his composure of his bumpy house sets, wicked mid-tempo space funk, funky tech house, chordy techno sounds and bumpy soulful deep house is sure to keep you grooving.  He's had the blessed opportunity in playing along side with Terry Mullen, Gene Farris, Hector Moralez, Arturo Garces, GIOM, DJ Mes, DJ Rasoul, David Harness, Homero Espinosa and Deron Dalgado.

You can find Jesse James in Sacramento throwing the RAWVIBES parties and currently holds an active residency with Family Groove, Red Monkey SF, Sol Sundaze, and founder of Rhythm Music Fest a new boutique music festival held on the Old Sacramento Waterfront.  

Jesse James is also on a new venture of learning hardware plus production, and is proud to be a part of the “COHORT” project led by Sunshine Jones. On his day-to-day program Jesse James currently owns a full service advertising agency & consulting firm and still contributes his time to the underground music community in designing promotional art, logos and record labels, most recently the record label Nine Sixteen Muzik owned by Jon Anthoni out of Sacramento, CA.
