ABOUT GHENJI

GHENJI is an Oakland based promoter, producer, and DJ who first became obsessed with House Music back in 1996. Working his way forward from his Progressive origins to an individualistic multi-genre sound, playing hundreds of events all over the South, including originating his own monthly residency STRUT in Birmingham,  AL in 2012. Since relocating to the SF Bay Area, he has released music on Get Physical, Afro Deep, Deepfiction, Deep Site Space, Reason 2 Funk, Jack Trax, and Beat Thesis. All while relocating his signature event, STRUT to F8 1192 Folsom St booking and opening for global performers such as Stacey Pullen, Yousef, Junior Sanchez, Sunshine Jones, Garth, Jay Tripwire, and DJ Dan just to name a few.
